Why use Biotech Fungicidal Additive?
Decorated surfaces are under constant attack, air borne mould spores are the most common cause of all mould infection. As the source cannot be eliminated alternative methods of control are required. Biotech Fungicidal Additives provide the final protection to decorative finish. Specially formulated for inclusion in emulsion paints, gloss paints, wallpaper paste, size, grouts and textured ceiling coatings.
Step 3. Using Biotech Fungicidal Additives
Description: Biotech Fungicidal Additive is a specially formulated fungicidal additive that when mixed into final decorative finishes provides long term protection from mould attack.
Uses: Mix into the base product i.e. in emulsion, gloss paints, wallpaper paste, size, grouts and textured ceiling coatings, and apply in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be cleaned and sterilized using Mouldcheck Sterilizer2. Remove all loose and friable material and repair to a smooth finish. Key/Etch non porous finishes, rub down and prepare all other surfaces. Then treat all surfaces with Mouldcheck Barrier2 as per instructions.
Mix Ratio: Add one 40 ml Biotech Fungicidal Additive to 2.5 Litres of Emulsion Paint or 5 Litres of Primer, Undercoat and Gloss Finish Paint. Add one 50ml Biotech Fungicidal Additive to every 2.5 Litres of size, grouts and textured ceiling coatings.
Application: Ensure Biotech Fungicidal Additives are thoroughly mixed into the base product; apply in accordance with the manufactures instructions.
Coverage: In accordance with the manufactures instructions.
Drying Time: Biotech Fungicidal Additives will not affect the drying time of the base product. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
Equipment care and cleaning: Clean all equipment as per the manufactures instructions.
Limitation: This product should only be applied when environmental conditions are conducive to decorating standards.
Packaging: Supplied in 40 ml plastic bottles.
